Wacky Funhouse at Sophie-Nur's 8th Birthday!

The Wacky Funhouse had a jolly good time entertaining the children at Sophie-Nur's 8th Birthday last Saturday!
It was a busy day and it was unfortunate that we came a little late as we were delayed slightly at an earlier party. The host, Iryani was so understanding and that made us even more determined to give our 110 percent for the party.

We are glad that everything went very well and I even took some time to organise the pinata session. Speaking of pinata, we would like to advise parents to make do without the blindfold so as to minimise chances of any accident. The pinata are usually very hardy and it takes alot of beating before it gets broken down. If your party consist of mostly 8-10 year olds, then the problem might not be so evident. However, I think we should spare some thought for the 5-6 year olds. At this age, they are usually physically much weaker and having them blindfolded will only make the pinata session take up too much time. The truth is, the kids just want to grab the goodies! =)

It was our first time ever booking a magician and a balloon sculptor for any of our events and we're so glad we decided on Shufi the Magician!

Shufi was great at handling kids and he was all smiles since the very second he entered the venue even up till we waved goodbye. He created a fun & enjoyable environment which made it easy to watch. It's been truly a busy weekend for us.
The highlight for this has got to be Abby's 4th Birthday Party!
We are really honored to be part of the event and we really had lots of great fun entertaining the children. The children were such a great bunch and we are really touched and pleased to know that Abby enjoyed the party.

Abby had a fantastic day yesterday at her party. Thanks for making it such a fun and entertaining party and thanks to Ms Neelie for the beautiful glitter tattoos for the boys and girls.

Abby keeps on going about how fun the show was (she loved the wand and the toilet paper tricks and the kids had a ball with the rabbit) and the tattooes will be the talk at their school when my kids and their school friends are showing them off.

The balloon sculpturing was very awesome as well. It was a great way to celebrate her 4th birthday. Thanks once again. My husband and I were extremely delighted with how it all turned out - two thumbs up.

Hi everyone!

It's been a long while since I last posted something on this blog.
Well... it's the time of the year once again and the WackyFunHouse team is extremely busy this December.
Christmas is just around the corner and also, I am sure we are all waiting for the arrival of the new year!

The WackyFunHouse team was at Changi Airport Recreation Club earlier today and we entertained a whole lot of children! Almost a hundred of them! We sure did had a great time and I am pretty sure that the kids had a blast of a time! We'll just let the photos do the talking.

	Stage / Children Birthday Party Magic If it's big crowds or a long list of guests you need to entertain, perhaps a larger show is in order. Shufi is capable of involving both young kids and adults with his platform-style performances. Magic with bunny or rabbit is not cliche!

Hi everyone!

If you ever thought that making bunnies or rabbits appear in a magic show is a cliche, well I think you are wrong. For more than 2 years now, Shufi has included the appearance of Donut the magical rabbit as the finale to his show. Shufi does not pluck a rabbit from a magic tophat. Singapore's Best and Most Talented Facepainters!

Hi all,

Are you wondering what to do for your child's birthday party?

What activities will you be planning for your child's birthday party? Will you get any entertainer?

Will it be a magician?

Have a bouncy castle?

A clown? A balloonist?

Or a mixture of the various activities?

Whatever is your decision, do not forget to have a face painter for your birthday party.
Having a face painter can be an excellent idea. Facepainting can complement any other activities like bouncy castles, balloon twisting or magic show. Face painting can take place concurrently with the other activities. For instance, you can engage a balloonist and a facepainter to both work together at the same time to shorten the waiting time for the kids.

Another tip is that you can consider having the face painter start at the same time as the guests arrival timing. Most parties will allow 30 minutes buffer time for the guests to arrive. The facepainter can then keep the kids busy while waiting for other guests.
Most face painters require just a small table and 2 chairs and they can begin their work in less than 10 minutes upon arrival.

A typical face painting session is usually 60 minutes in duration and most accomplished face painters can paint for about 15 kids within the hour.

So if you have a party of 30 kids, do hire a face painter for 2 hours so as to avoid disappointment!

In conclusion, having a face painter for your child's birthday party is always a good idea . If you are based in Singapore, here's one really good Singapore face painter.

Hi everyone!

Fifi's in action once at kids party yet again! After a month long of corporate events and stage magic shows at shopping malls, the peak season of the year comes to an end and Fifi is back performing at kids parties all around Singapore!

New Corporate Show LAUNCHED!

Hi everyone!

Great news! Shufi (aka Fifi the Wacky Magician) have just launched his new corporate stage show this week. The first to experience it was Mott Macdonald earlier this week. HortPark was next, followed by Datacraft Pte Ltd. And just today, Shufi brought the finalised corporate stage show to Keppel Club for Aspire EduServices annual Dinner and Dance 2009!

This new show is the biggest ever show performed by Shufi which includes mini illusions. The newest addition to the show is Shufi's comedy take on the classic Sword through Neck illusion. In this mini illusion, Shufi put a twist into it by using two swords instead of just one. This is a fantastic blend of bizarre magic and comedy magic in one single magical effect!

Shufi went on to perform one of the greatest card magic of all times. After some mindreading, Shufi attempts to draw out the card that he thinks is the selected card. Apparently, Shufi gets it all wrong. After some comedy byplay, Shufi magically animates the drawing on the sketchbook and gets the actual selected card rising out from the drawing!
Shufi concludes his show with an excerpt from his award winning competition act which got him 3rd place in the 1st Open Stage Magic Competition 2009 held earlier this month. This beautiful piece of illusion never fail to amaze! You definitely have to watch this one!

2 days of Family's Day Out @ City Square Mall for Mediacorp!

Once again, it's been a pretty busy weekend for us. For 2 days, Fifi was invited to be part of Mediacorp's "Family's Day Out" event held at City Square Mall. It was a weekend to encourage families to go out together as one family to shop, dine or simply have fun. Mediacorp have prepared lots of activities over the two days. Some of the highlights were the Family Most Look-alike Contest, Celebrities appearance and not forgetting, Fifi's Wacky Magic Show!!

As usual, Donut the Magical rabbit made his appearance in Fifi's show and everyone was delighted to witness him appearing out of an empty ballooN! Fifi ended the show with his grand finale which was a special illusion of a floating table!

Fifi had plenty of fun over the 2 days sharing his magic with all who were present to watch. Fifi was also invited to give away some exciting balloon sculptures after the show.

Secrets of Magic Revealed @ Singapore Flyer

For a week long, Fifi and friends will be at the Singapore Flyer everyday from 6pm-7pm till this Sunday for a special programme. Secrets of magic will be exposed during this session to educate the public how easy one can get started with learning magic. Of course, we won't be exposing the bigger secrets in magic. Our job is to arouse interest in this art form and educate members of the public how one can make use of simple secrets and change it into something entertaining.

Today, the crowd was pretty receptive and showed great interest in learning the tricks that were being taught. Several tricks were covered and a good number of them enjoyed the cards tricks that were being shared. Fifi also allowed for hands on experience by passing around his cards for the audience to actually try out the secrets that were being taught to them.

Last workshop for the year!

Hi everyone!

It's been a really busy month for us but it's great to be able to squeeze in some time educating kids all around Singapore the art of magic! Over the past 3 weeks, Fifi's been travelling alot from Jurong to Woodlands to Toa Payoh and several other Community Centres / Clubs in Singapore. Our "Magic Art" workshop has always been well received and Lam Soon CC had a record attendance of 24 participants!

During our short 2 day course, participants are equipped with knowledge and skills that enable them to perform magical feats with everyday objects like cards, rubberbands, tissue paper, hankerchief and more!

Today, we were at Thomson CC for the very last workshop to be held this year. One of our participants is Ethan who is just 4 years old. At the end of the second day, he manage to amaze several adults who were standing outside the classroom watching him perform the vanishing hankerchief trick! It is amazing how a boy so young can pull off that relatively difficult trick. I'll post up a video of his performance if I can next time.

Fifi is 2nd Runner Up in 1st S'pore Open Magic Competition!

Hi everyone!

It's me, Fifi the Wacky Magician. Guess what?!

Fifi emerged 2nd runner up in today's 1st Singapore Open Magic Competition held at Square 2 Shopping Mall.

This competition is open to anyone in the world.
Amongst the finalists were Jeff Leong, a superb magician from Malaysia! The rest were locals and they are Yusof, Nic, Aaaron and Jazz.

It's a very tough competition and the pressure can be seen affecting some of the performers. The coolest head has got to be Aaron and Yusof who were the deserving Champion and 1st runner up respectively.

Aaron performed a very competent manipulation act with parasols, cards and canes. He then moved on to his fast paced linking ring routine. To my surprise, he then performed his rendition of the classical miser's dream! It was hilarious and I think he scored some entertainment points there. He ended off his act with an absolutely fast pace rope routine which almost impossible to follow! Haha.

1st runner up Yusof is a veteran performer with about 30years of performing experience. His act was totally hilarious from beginning till the end. His finale was the production of a live snake! That definitely set him apart from the rest of us.

Good news for me, I won for myself $800 worth of shopping vouchers. These will keep me and Eileen busy for a while! Hehe.

Who's Eileen? Ooh. She's none other than our very own facepainter, aka Ms Neelie!
She's been very supportive throughout my entire journey in this competition. Always giving me ideas, suggestions and feedback so that I can continue to give my best in my magic performances.

So, I'll take this opportunity to thank her for always being there for me. Going through all my rehearsals. Helping me with my props. Helping me take pictures and videos of the finals. Taking care of me when I'm sick. Encouraging me when I'm down... and the list goes on and on. Thank you so much! Can't have done it all without you!

Nicole's 7th Birthday!

Hi everyone!

It's been a really busy weekend once again for the Wacky FunHouse team. On Saturday, Fifi the Wacky Magician took the whole day off from performing to compete in the Singapore's 1st Open Stage Magic Competition. It was down to the final 8 competitors at the semi final round. Fifi did his best by performing his unique brand of comedy magic with ropes and that got everyone amazed and amused. Finally. Fifi ended his act with the production of Donut the magical rabbit!

Good news is that Fifi is now through to the finals!!! We are down to the top 6 competitors now and the competition will be really tough. The whole lot is really talented and amazing in their own rights. I personally enjoyed Jeff Leong's manipulation act with canes and parasols. It's really really very good!!! It's a very dynamic act packed with lots and lots of surprises. To be honest, he is my personal favourite. I am pretty sure he'll win the competition. So, all the best Jeff.

Throughout this competition, I made several new friends. They include our indian magic specialist, Mr Yusof. He is really very funny on stage. Off stage, he is really one friendly guy. He made a snake appear in the semi finals! That was one piece of crazy magic!!

I also got to know this lady magician. She is Cheryl aka PHOENIX. She is one bubbly girl and I enjoyed her semi final act. The handcuffs escape she did was... WOW! It was highly dramatic and got my heart thumping hard for the entire 2mins! I am sure she'll be able to make a name for herself in the entertainment industry. Furthermore, she's one the very few lady magicians in Singapore!

I also manage to meet Nick Sin Tong! He has been an internet friend of mine for many many years. But now, I finally got to know him in person. Nick's act looked very polished to me. I asked him if it was a rehearsed and memorised script. and... he said "no." Haha. I'm impressed! He is one of the very few finalists who did a verbal act. Most of the others had at least half of the entire act performed to music, without speaking a single word.

On Sunday, we were going around Singapore performing at kids parties once again. One of the highlights for the day has got to be Nicole's 7th Birthday Party. We were late for the party all thanks to a traffic jam, a real bad traffic jam along Mountbatten Road all thanks to the road closure due to the ongoing marathon.

We were about 10mins late, and we tried our best to set up everything as fast as we could. Ms Neelie got her facepainting equipments settled first and so she got her facepainting started first.
I had a harder time as I had to prepare my props for the magic show as well as my balloons for the balloon sculpting giveaways session.

As requested by our client, we customised our magic show to ensure that Nicole, the birthday girl is featured and made the star of the day. So, Fifi got her to help in the magic not once, but TWICE!

Everyone had lots of fun participating in the magic show, laughing away almost non-stop during the entire 30mins. Fifi ended the show with the appearance of Donut, our magical rabbit. As usual, all the kids went crazy and wanted to have their hands on our cute little rabbit!

Despite being late for the event, Nicole's mum was absolutely delighted with our service. In her exact words, she said "Thank you very much! Your good service compensated for everything."

We were really happy that everything was alright in the end. Thank you everyone for trusting us to make your event a successful and memorable one. See you guys around!

Kelly's 5th Birthday!

We were at Taman Jurong Community Club today for Kelly's 5th Birthday. Kelly is such an adorable girl. When I went over to her, she actually held my hand and followed me to meet Ms Neelie. Today, we were engaged for our Basic Birthday Party Package. In case you didn't know, this package consist of approximately 30mins of magic and 1hr of facepainting/balloon sculpting.

Who says that facepainting service is just for kids?

Our artists are highly talented and can handle any kind of event. It can be a dinner and dance, prom night, outdoor carnival, you name it all, we can do it!

Yesterday, we were at Intercontinental Hotel for Kranji's Secondary School Graduation Prom Night. It was an evening filled with activities and fun. Our team was there to offer facepainting and caricature services. Throught the entire hour, numerous people were taking turns to get their arms painted while others waited for their cartoon potraits to be done. These two services are one of the top favourite picks for all kinds of dinner functions. Unfortunately, we can't be there forever and we had to end the queue somehow...

Maya's 4th Birthday!

The Wacky FunHouse team had a pretty busy weekend once again!
Today, we were invited for Maya's 4th Birthday! I must say that Maya is one very shy girl but she sure did enjoy herself especially towards the end of the magic show. Maya also got herself several balloons which include a turtle bracelet, a heart shaped wand and Elmo!

Fifi kicked off the show with the colour changing feather rings. This is a piece of highly visual magic and is certainly very friendly for the 4 year olds. It is easily understood and the colours of the feather rings adds colours to the Wacky Fun Show. After which, Fifi went on with some magic with ropes. This involved Maya, the birthday girl and within minutes, she took the spotlight and manage to pull off a magic trick all by herself!

The finale of the show never fail to impress the audience. Fifi got everyone in the room to join in to shout the magic word. Yes, I know you know it. It's "Wacky Fun HOUSE!!!!"

A white balloon burst and out came a white rabbit from nowhere!!!

Wacky Great Fun On the sea!!!

The Wacky FunHouse team (Fifi and Ms Neelie) was being featured last Tuesday as one of the several other stage performances onboard Asia Cruises' "Ben's Entertainment City". There were plenty of singing and music but Fifi's performance proved to be the most exciting and unique.
The audience was a little shy in the beginning but as the show went on, the crowd began to respond enthusiastically at the end of each magical moment.

As usual, the illusion of the floating table got many people gasping in disbelief. After the show, this is the illusion that got several members of the audience telling Fifi how much they enjoyed that segment of the show.

A new addition of the show was the finale whereby Fifi attempted to vanish his assistant's (Ms Neelie) head. A box was placed to cover the head of Ms Neelie. After which, Fifi thrusted a total of 9 daggers through the box in every direction possible. The front of the box was then opened to show that Ms Neelie's head is totally unharmed as it has magically vanished into thin air. All that can be seen were the 9 daggers piercing through the box! At the end of the illusion, Ms Neelie's head reappeared and was completely unharmed! Bravo!

Wacky Fun Weekend!

Today, Fifi was invited for a little end of the year gathering by Mr and Mrs Pua for his son, Ek Hoe and his fellow classmates. Fifi was engaged to perform a session of closeup magic and give away some balloon sculptures to the kids. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed Fifi's little magic tricks which consisted of card magic, rope magic and more! Fifi also amazed the kids with some magic with rubberbands!
The Wacky FunHouse team headed down to Maplewoods condominium after which for Josh's Birthday Party. We were engaged for the Combo Package which consist of the Wacky Magic Show, Balloon sculpting giveaways and facepainting. Josh's mum, Mrs Jacelyn Koh was extremely pleased with our services that she kept thanking us. Everyone was amazed with Fifi's competence with the balloons creating exciting sculptures like Spiderman, Tweety Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Daffy Duck and a whole lot more!

The kids also enjoyed getting their faces and arms painted by our dearest Ms Neelie. Mrs Koh was absolutely impressed with her artwork! That's the end of yet another tiring weekend.

Why hire our facepainters?

It's always a great idea to have a facepainter for your child's event.

Why?

Firstly, kids generally love colourful stuffs. Having their faces and/or arms painted is definitely a great way to get these kids involved in the painting process. Secondly, the experience of getting themselves painted is certainly unique unlike what magicians or balloon sculptors provide your child. The soft brush moving against their skin often tickles a little, and this makes the process fun and memorable for them. Our facepainter will interact and joke with the individual kids to make sure that they feel comfortable during the whole process. Walking away with their favourite design on their skin certainly will make them feel special.

The painting can definitely last the entire day till they get themselves washed up. Balloon sculpture however may pop if the child did not take good care of it. Magical experience is probably the best at leaving a lasting impression to the kids. But as you probably already know, hiring a magician is pretty costly and might not necessarily be what you are looking for especially if the birthday child is less than four year old.

Rest assured that our facepainter use only one brand of paints ie. Snazaroo. It is probably the safest paint in the world, specially imported from UK and is FDA certified, meaning it's totally safe for use on the skin. You may google for it to find out greater detail about this product that we use. No doubt that this cost more on our part but your child's safety is our concern as kids entertainers.

Lastly, I believe that we boast the most talented pool of facepainters in the country. Just take a look at some of the painting samples below!

Hi everyone!

We were at Bedok South Secondary School on friday evening for a family event. The teachers of the school came down with their families to enjoy lots of food, popcorn, cotton candy and more. There were also facepainting and balloon sculpting services provided for the children.

To close the event, Fifi (myself) was tasked to perform a 20mins magic show for everyone. As usual, the show was highly interactive, allowing for plenty of audience participation in the show. One lucky boy, Finigan even got a chance to pull off a rope trick with Fifi's help.

The magic show was jam packed with Fifi's style of humour. Kids were laughing almost non-stop till some of them suffered from cough! I had to go to the extent of controlling their laughter just in case they hurt their throat. For the first time, I even saw one of the kids ended up rolling on the floor! Being a comedy magic show, the show was no lacking of moments of astonishment either. Several times during the show, you could hear members of the audience gasping during moments like the appearance of our magical rabbit and when a table lifted off the ground, seemingly floating in mid air!

It was indeed a fun evening. One of the kids asked me, "Can we watch more magic next time?" It was probably her first ever magic show and 20mins was definitely not enough fun for her. So, I said, "Yes you can! Just tell mummy that you want to have Fifi for your birthday party!"

Yes! We were at spotlight last weekend! What spotlight am I talking about you say?

Well, we were actually involved in the grand opening sale at SPOTLIGHT @ Plaza Singapura.

We were there really early at 9.30am on Saturday but to our surprise, there were hundreds of people queuing up outside the store to receive the goodie bag which is only limited to the first 500 customers!

Saturday was really hectic for us all, especially me who was twisting balloons almost non-stop that day. Good thing I had Paul to take over me for lunch. Thanks Paul!!!

After a very tiring weekend, it's finally time for Fifi and Ms Neelie to take some time off!

We've just successfully completed a 2 day promotional event for BreadTalk Pte. Ltd. I must say that it was a fun and exciting experience for us these two days helping out at United Square's new ToastBox outlet store launch.

We've been engaged for a two-day event to give away balloon sculptures over a period of 4 hrs each day. On top of that, we were also required to promote ToastBox's peanut butter toast. The first 50 child who got a balloon on each day received a voucher from ToastBox that will allow them to redeem a free toast valid only for that weekend.

Most of them who received the voucher did redeem the free toast and bought additional food and/or drinks to go with it. All in all, the event was pretty successful as it can be seen that the store is packed with customers almost the entire day.

I shall now look forward to next week's event for Spotlight at Plaza Singapura!

YES, we at Wacky FunHouse absolutely love Fridays!

WHY?

Well, that's simply because we can all finally escape from our weekday jobs to do what all of us love, to entertain people. Many people find it surprising that we all don't do this full time because for some reason many people have been more than pleased with the quality of our shows. Just check out our website to read up on some of the things that people have said about us!

For me, I personally love performing for kids. And I rather let it continue as my weekend job. It's such a challenge at times that I find it absolutely thrilling to perform for them everytime.
I just love the entire experience, from packing my suitcase to prepare for the show, reaching the venue, greeting the kids, doing the magic, producing the rabbit, playing with the kids...

Every show I do, I get to meet different group of kids of varying ages. Sometimes, I get to perform at an all boy party while at other times, it might be the direct opposite. I always have to expect the unexpected. In kids show, I can definitely expect all kinds of unexpected things to happen before, during and after my show.

I find it a great joy being able to put smiles on the children faces. People sometimes tell me that I am gifted. But to me, it's really not me that make the show fun. The most important people in my show are really the kids. They are the star, not me!

This is the reason why I ensure that my show is highly interactive, and jam packed with comedy and magic. Definitely, I can't possibly let every kid take part in the show, but rest assured I always do my best to make sure that every kid feel part of the show. They shout the magic words together, they do the magical gesture together, they laugh together, they scream together, and they all get to bring home a little something from us at the end of the show!

I am personally not a fan of show and tell. I don't like to brag and showoff to people that yes, I can do this and this and this. Why not let the kids do the magic? That's exactly what the kids get to do in my show. The birthday kid in particular, will get to perform the most amazing tricks in the show which includes helping me transform a white balloon into a real live white rabbit!!!

Tomorrow, I'll be down for a party 2nd time the same year. We did a party for Macky earlier this August, and tomorrow will be her sister, Tevy's turn. It's Tevy's birthday and we are absolutely excited to be back. So, I'll see you kids!!!

After the party, we'll have to rush down for an event for BreadTalk at United Square shopping mall. So, if you wanna catch us do some balloon twisting and takeaway one for yourself, please do drop by!

Busy Sunday!

It's yet another busy day for us this weekend. But we certainly enjoyed ourselves alot. On Sunday, we were performing for the residents of Woodlands Ring Road to celebrate Children's Day. There were all kinds of activities planned out for them including colouring competition, best dressed contest and all kinds of other fun games! Not to be missed was the lucky draw wherby there were so many attractive prizes to be won.

As usual, Fifi was there to perform his unique brand of highly fun and interactive stage magic for the children. The client requested for a 45mins stage show this time round. It was a quite a challenge as usually our shows are 30mins long. To me, the main challenge was how to keep the kids excited throughout the entire show. 45mins is in fact extremely long considering they usually spend their time seated down and this might get them uncomfortable after a while.

What Fifi did was to put the rabbit appearance halfway through the show instead of the usual finale so as to get the kids on their toes. Saving the best for last, Fifi did a mini illusion of the floating table. This got everyone including the guest of honour mesmerized with their jaws wide open!

We had to rush down to Hougang after that for a private birthday party. This time round, the highlight was the amazing facepainting by Ms Neelie. The birthday boy was so pleased with the first painting that he got, he couldn't resist getting another one immediately after that. He had a scorpion and a huge spider drawn on the both sides of his face. It was all smiles for him for the rest of that evening. Ms Neelie did her best to make sure that all the other kids walk away with a painting each. Several girls wanted to go for a second one, but due to the lack of time, we had to limit it to just one painting per child.

The host, Ms Nimisha was so pleased with our job that she kept thanking us time and time again before he made our move.

Danielle's 7th Birthday !!!

Today, we are pleased to be invited to Danielle's 7th Birthday.
All the kids were so thrilled and excited to see us at the door, especially Danielle and her little brother, Xavier. Xavier is indeed one energetic boy who just can't stop talking and shouting! Haha. I had lots of fun talking to Xavier the entire time I was there.

We spent our first hour doing facepainting for the kids. Almost everyone wanted to have a go at it, and Ms Neelie did really well to manage the queue and ensure that everyone have something nice painted on their faces. Xavier didn't want to have his face painted probably because he felt it was abit "girlish".

Then came the magic show! Given the tight space, I had some difficulty at first managing a couple of the kids as they kept coming so close to me. But overall, everyone enjoyed the show, especially when Donut our magical rabbit made it's appearance. Xavier wanted the rabbit so badly, he didn't want to return it to us. It took me quite some time before I manage to convince him that there's no need for him to keep a rabbit since he already had a pet dog. Fifi gave him a magic wand instead to keep him happy and smiling for the rest of the day!

Busy period on its way!

It's been a hectic weekend for us at the Wacky FunHouse. On Friday, we were at a corporate annual function for PricewaterhouseCoopers at the Marina Barrage. We had some difficulty making our way there thanks to the congested traffic. But nevertheless, the team were all there on time. We sent two closeup magicians and two facepainters for the event. Surprisingly, our facepainters had an amazingly busy two hours there. The queue at the facepainting booth appeared to be almost never ending!

The two closeup magicians were none other than Farid and myself. We had lots of fun roaming around the entire complex from one group to another entertaining them with our blend of unique closeup magic with cards, coins, ropes, rubberbands and more.

On Saturday, Farid and Zul were engaged to perform for Clubilya. Everyone was very pleased with the magic and balloon sculpting services. The magic performance especially got so many kids go wild! On the other hand, I was at Tampines central for a block party to celebrate mid autumn festival. Everyone enjoyed the magic show and the kids went especially crazy when Donut our magical rabbit made its appearance!

On Sunday, Ms Neelie was at a private birthday party! It was overall a fun day for Ms Neelie. ALL the kids wanted their face painted! None of them was shy to get their face painted and this is absolutely surprising as usually, about half the kids will ask for only their arms to be painted on, but today was an exception!

At the same time, I was at Ayer Rajah CC for a 2 in 1 celebration. The CC was celebrating both the mid autumn festival and Hari Raya at the same time. I was engaged to perform once again my unique brand of stage magic for children. As usual, both the kids and the adults enjoyed the show. Donut, the magical rabbit made it's appearance at the end of the show and that got many people singing praises for Fifi as he put up yet another successful show. Thank you everyone for being such a great audience!

Upcoming Beginner's Magic Workshop in CC !

We just had a 2 day workshop at Kolam Ayer CC during the september school holidays.
I must say that it was a very successful workshop as most of the students feedback to us to say that they've learnt to successfully perform more tricks here in this course, compared to other courses they've attended elsewhere.

Despite this being a short 2 day workshop, the course has been carefully structured to allow children to pick up the necessary skills of magic and performing. There's a good balance of simple tricks and the more technically demanding sleight of hand magic. If you've missed the earlier courses, don't fret as we will be working with 11 other CCs all around Singapore this coming end of year school holiday.

Take note that the workshop is open only to children/teens of age 8-18years old.
You'll also be required to bring a deck of playing cards (preferably poker cards).
All the other equipments will be provided.

Wacky FunHouse is still alive!

Hi folks!

In case, you've been wondering, Wacky FunHouse is still alive! Yes, I don't post often on this blog. That's because we are extremely busy! We had two parties yesterday. We were at Anika's 4th Birthday at Mandalay road. And boy, everyone really had a great time with Fifi and Ms Neelie's superb service. We were hired to do an hour of balloon sculpting and facepainting. As usual, the balloon sculptures by Fifi is ever sooooo popular! Fifi made alot of fishes and 3 spiderman which got alot of parents going "WOW!"

Ms Neelie had a great time too with the kids and everyone there kept singing praises for her. As usual, Ms Neelie unleash her unbelievable creativity and painted all sorts of colourful designs that got even the adults drooling and craving for paintings to be done on themselves!
We ended up staying back for extra 45 minutes to make sure that we got everyone covered. Kudos to Ms Neelie's professionalism too for giving her best in every single piece of work despite the host allowing her to simplify her designs towards the end of the session.

Later on, we rushed down to Sembawang Road for Joel's 3 year old daughter's birthday. Joel told us that he had some bad experience last year, hiring a chinese magician who dressed up as a clown and ended up scaring almost all the kids. He was pleased that Fifi's costume is very appealing and friendly looking. First impression definitely counts! Haha. The session was abit slow initially as most of the kids were busy eating after an hour of swimming.

But the game changed 20mins later as children flocked around Ms Neelie and Fifi for their favourite balloon pieces. We had dozens of request for our "fish on a fishing rod" sculpture. The next favourite is a set of sword and shield. It was Fifi's first time making a shield, and boy... everyone wanted to get a set of those fanciful weapons after that. At the end of that session, Joel and wife were extremely pleased with us. They kept thanking us and got us to grab a bite before leaving. He was so nice that he even paid us more than what we asked for. Thank you so much Joel! We are honoured to be invited for the occasion. Hope to see you again next time!

Fifi and Ms Neelie celebrated and ended the day having dinner at Pastamania! Pastamania is HALAL! I didn't know about this until yesterday. The pizza was yummy! But the pasta was disappointing. Oh well... all in all, it was a fantastic day and today it's Hari Raya, so I've declined to do any shows for the next 2 weeks. Till next time!

Chevrolet Promotional Event!

We were at Ubi where Chevrolet Showroom is. We were hired to provide 5hours of balloon sculpting for the potential customers there. Fifi totally enjoyed the session as there wasn't much of a crowd. Thanks to that, Fifi had the luxury to do more complex sculptures for everyone!

As usual, Fifi wowed the folks with his renditions of spiderman, elmo, cookie monster, tweety bird, pink panther and more! Many people also loved the "fish on a fishing rod". Fifi also managed to make a couple of his latest creations, a cartoon turtle and crab. The showroom manager loved the sculptures so much that he got Fifi to make 2 sculptures for his daughter who's at home.

Fifi also chanced upon two past client of his. Frankly speaking, Fifi can hardly remember them. There's so many shows that Fifi has done to date, it's quite impossible to remember all his past clients. =P

Well, it was a pretty tiring day but boy, we sealed another 3 day of events in october! Looking forward to that!

Noisy, Wacky and Fun!!!

It's a long day!!!!
Been very busy today, so I am going to do selective blogging from now onwards.
I apologise if I am not writing my experiences from some of your parties, but I think blogging is taking up quite abit of my precious time. With that said, I'll try my best to keep blogging and share with you all some of the more interesting experiences I had!

NOISY!
WACKY!
FUN!

Well, that's three words how I can describe Annanya's 5th Birthday Party!!! Hahaha. It is the biggest crowd I had for a long long time. And the children who were present were truly noisy!
Kids being kids... Haha. But what's a party without noise right?

I enjoyed the noise actually especially when the kids applaud and cheered continuously as Fifi did his balloon swallowing act which never fail to impress. As usual, Fifi ended the show with the appearance of Donut the magical Rabbit. This one never fail to impress both the kids and adults!
Many adults came to me, telling me how shocked they were when they saw the rabbit appear from nowhere!

The client, Mr Vishwanath was very kind to us, always making sure we had enough to eat and drink after the show. In fact, the whole family was so nice!!!! Mr Vishwanath's dad and mom also couldn't stop thanking us and they ended up packing for us a whole lot of home made sweets! YUMMY! Thank you so much everyone. Fifi sure did had a whole lot of fun!!!

I am taking a week break now as I have some studying and exercising to do! =P
I'll tell you all why next time. Hehe.

Alazne's 2nd Birthday!

It was Alazne's 2nd Birthday on Saturday and the Wacky FunHouse team has been engaged to run almost the entire party programme for our client.
We kicked off the party with our Wacky Birthday Magic Show. Though Alazne was obviously too young to fully understand the show, Fifi did his very best to put up a good show so that everyone will have a great time.

The show was then followed by a lucky draw session where kids are given a chance to answer 10 simple questions and then go for a lucky dip to win some really cool prizes! First question was "What is my name?" Haha. Practically all the kids knew the answer. The hardest question was probably... "What is my age??" Haha. I had answers from 1 to 100!!!! The other questions were much simpler like... "What is the name of Spongebob's squarepants friend, the starfish? What is the name of the monkey in Dora the Explorer?" Really simple huh? Hahah. I bet some of you adults don't know!

We went on with the cake cutting session and after which we did an hour of balloon sculpting for all the kids. As usual, we made sure that all the kids walk away with at least a balloon each, but in fact most of the kids ended up with 2 or more! That's kids for you. One is never enough, but we entirely enjoyed it!

We had fun. We had lots of fun! And I'm pretty sure everyone did too!
Sorry to Jessica though. For a while she got scared when I showed her my magic toy gun! Didn't know my POP gun can be that intimidating. My first time encountering such a problem. I'm very very sorry.
But in the end, she had fun too as she kept coming asking for balloons from Fifi.

The client was singing praises for us saying that she received lots of compliments from the other parents. Thank you so much for choosing us for your entertainment needs!
Thank you Grace for recommending us to your friend too! Haha. Grace thought I was a malay when she saw my profile from the website. But when she saw me in person, she got all confused. She was convinced that I am a chinese then. Haha. She was sooo shocked when I explained that I am actually a malay!

What a great party!

It was a great day for the Wacky FunHouse team!
For once, the birthday kid wasn't aware that we are going to be there at his party.
His mum kept it a secret till we appeared at the door.

We were greeted by approximately 15kids and they were all soooo adorable!!! Haha. It was really fun performing for them all. Everyone was soooo keen to step up and help Fifi on "stage". Haha.

We kicked off the show with the never ending paper from mouth trick which got all the kids go bonkers and crazy! Don't try it at home kids! Haha. We then got the birthday boy to do a magical rope trick which got everyone soooo amazed. Within a day, he managed to train himself to be such an amazing magician! *Applause!!!*

For the finale, Donut our magical rabbit made its appearance and got all the kids sooo excited. Everyone kept asking Fifi to make a rabbit for them after that, but too bad, they had to settle with a balloon rabbit instead. Haha.

Neelie too had fun painting on the kids faces and arms while Fifi continued with some amazing balloon sculptures never seen before elsewhere! I had so much fun today! Thank you so much everyone!

I must say the host, Nick and Mal were soooo nice to us. They kept ensuring that we had sufficient drink and food throughout that amazing 2hrs.

A slack weekend

Hey people!

It's Fifi (Shufi) here, your favourite wacky magician! It's been a great weekend for me. For once, there's no work to think about! =PPushed one gig to farid, and I'll be pushing more to him in time to come. Hehe. The art of Taichi!

Well, I am taking some time off magic now that commencement 2009 is tomorrow!!! Haha. Yes, I am finally officially getting my cert! 4 years of archi-torture! Well, in case you didn't know, I studied architecture for 4 (miserable) years in NUS, and NOW, I am finally out! Haha.Can't wait to throw my graduation mortar board ie. "the graduation cap thingy"!

Friday was fantastic as Zul and me were having lots of fun at the Peranakan Museum.
Here's what the client said on email:

"Hi Shufi & Zul, it was great having you guys entertaining the crowd with your unique Magic Tricks. The additional touch of integrating the Museum and the Peranakan's culture to your performance is an added value to our event and we thank you both for an entertaining night. We hope you had as much fun as we did! "

Well, it will be back to work next week.

Night at the Museum!

MAGIC WITH A PERANAKAN TWIST!!!

I am not talking about the movie, Night at the Museum. But rather, 10th July is a special night for a couple of museums in the City Hall district.

The Peranakan Museum at Armenian Street for instance is opening late at night till 2am that night! Indeed it's a special one night only celebration, definitely going to be one of a kind museum experience for all who come. I am involved as one of the several entertainers at the museum, performing my brand of magic with a peranakan twist!

Other than magicians, there will also be a couple of cartoonists who will be stationed there to do a quick cartoon sketch of you! There's also a live Jazz band who will be performing thrice that same evening! So, do check us out!

Nyla's 4th Birthday !

The Wacky FunHouse team was at Sengkang area for Nyla's 4th Birthday party. When I first saw the venue, I told myself "sheessh, I am so dead without a mic."

Well, the show had to go on, and Fifi had to try and speak exceptionally louder during his show.
I must admit it's pretty hard to focus on the performance and speaking out loud at the same time, but nevertheless, the show went pretty well. The kids enjoyed the show and Ryan enjoyed it even more! He enjoyed attacking me too!!

Nyla's such a pretty girl and will surely grow up as pretty as her mum. Her mum is Ms Nura who for quite a while did appear on TV in numerous occasions. Wonder if she's still active in that. Perhaps not. I guess she's probably assuming her new duty as a full time mummy now. Thanks so much for choosing us for your entertainment needs! I am truly honoured to be invited to perform at Nyla's birthday party!
Ooh! And you know what? She looks quite abit like Magic Babe "Ning", a fellow magician friend of mine!

Andy and me were at Swissotel The Stamford for Easter Sunday!
It was a very fun 4 hours for us. The kids were wild, so were the adults. We had plenty of request for Easter Bunny along with other sculptures like Spiderman, Fish on a fishing rod, monkey on a coconut tree and not forgetting, Micky Mouse! We had our faces painted by Ms Neelie as it was a request from the management. Kids were amused with our looks! Too bad we did not have time to take some good photos. =P

14 April
Kelvin and me were at Prince Siddhattha childcare center for Carin Teoh's Birthday!

The kids weren't expecting us and for the first time, everyone was calling me "Xiao Chou"! (hope i get the hanyu pinyin right...) which literally means "little ugly"! Haha. It actually means a clown! =P

We had to make balloons for 90kids within an hour, so that was indeed a big rush!

18 April

Up next was a private party for a repeat client.

They got us for the full entertainment package consisting of magic, balloon sculpting and facepainting. Thanks for the continuous support!

25 April
Up next was a private party for Mdm Rohana and family. We were recommended to them by Said. So, thanks alot for that!
Kelvin was there to help me out yet again with the balloons.
To our surprise, half of the kids saw our magic show before. But good thing I manage to tweak the show a little for them. But I hope I had known. Everyone loved Donut, our magical rabbit. Haha!

Later that evening, we were at Bedok South for a stage magic performance for Bedok BougainVillea RC! We performed there before, and we were back yet again.
Donut, the magical rabbit was once again featured in this brand new stage show of ours!
I had a great time, and so did the kids!

26 April
Today is practically the best day for Wacky FunHouse.
We probably come across one of the nicest group of people ever!
First is Andrea and family!
Ms Neelie and myself were engaged for 2hrs of balloon sculpting and facepainting.
Andrea was indeed very nice to us, and so were the other aunties we met there! =P
Leia was shy at first but after a while, she got used to our presence and she got almost her entire body all painted up!
She had great fun playing with the balloon fish too!
There's also Claire who was so adorable. She kept asking for more and more balloons. I think she got 7 balloons at the end!

Next house was Edwin's. Edwin was so nice to us that he even allowed me to take some time off to do my night daily prayer at his place. Many thanks.
As requested by Edwin, we made her daughter Boots, Dora's monkey friend! Haha. She was so amazed when she got it! After the party, Edwin got us to eat and eat and eat! Thanks for the pizza!

It's party time yet again!

Today, Ms Neelie (Eileen) and me (Fifi the Wacky Magician) travelled all the way to Ulu Pandan Road for another party. I must say that the condominium was magnificent. It was great, a true beauty, an eye opener! It's so unlike the condos we see emerging up Singapore's skylines nowadays. This condo looks a little bit aged, but I must say the building is truly interesting.

Haha. I know I don't sound like a magician now. More like an architect right? What can I do, your magician here is architect trained. Do you know that? Well, now you know. I pursued my architectural degree locally in National University of Singapore. Too bad, I did not quite like what I was doing. I prefer dealing with people. With kids, in particular. That's why I ended up being a magician.

Ok. I've sidetracked quite alot. Anyway, we were engaged to do some balloon sculptures for the kids at the party. I was impressed. All the kids there were soooooo adorable and well-mannered. Haha. Ms Neelie spent alot of time entertaining the kids there especially Milly. Today's favourite pick was the machine gun and the "monkey on a coconut tree"!

Fifi certainly enjoyed his time at the party today. Hope to see you all again sometime soon!

Ian's 10th Birthday!

Today, we were at Ian's luxurious home for his 10th Birthday party. It was not the usual crowd. Mostly boys, they were wild but they were certainly a real interesting bunch. Ian's mummy, Mdm Theresa Ho was the kind host and she hired the Wacky FunHouse team for the full animal magic show. Being older kids, they wanted 'real' magic. So, we gave them 'real' magic, or at least that's what it appeared to be. =P

The magic show featured the appearance of 2 live doves. Yes, they are real! But the kids just could not believe that they are real, until the doves start "poo-ing". Interestingly, they kept wanting to see the doves fly, but I can't afford to do that as there is a huge scary ceiling fan which may cause unwanted accidents. Sorry kids.

The show ended with the appearance of Donut the Magical Rabbit. Ian had the priviledge of using the magic wand to cause Donut's appearance from a balloon. It was a definite crowd pleaser, as the adults responded with an overwhelming round of applause. Thank you!

Jessica's 5th Birthday!

Happy 5th Birthday Jessica!
The Wacky FunHouse team is very happy to be invited to be part of this special event. Thanks to Mr Andrew and wife (Annette) who were so nice to us. It was a rainy day, a heavy one for that matter. Fifi the magician was all wet before the show even got started.

That aside, Fifi kicked off the show with a brand new effect and Jessica was invited to help out in the first magic. It was a small group of audience, but wasn't exactly an easy one. The oldest being just 5 years olds, and some are just 3! The spelling trick had to be skipped as none of them possibly know how to spell. Silly Fifi! So naive, thinking that all of them know their spelling.

Nevertheless, the kids enjoyed the visual magic segments. Hankerchief vanishing, reappearing and changing colours. Broken magic wands. Color changing feather duster. Fixing a broken umbrella by magic. And of course, the show ended with the appearance of Donut, the magical rabbit!

Even the adults took part in the bits of magic to get Donut to appear!

In the end, it's time for the Wacky FunHouse team to take their bow and leave.
The kids even helped us to pack up! Haha.

NEW MAGIC EFFECT ADDED!

Hi people!

Wacky FunHouse is proud to bring in a brand new magic effect into our magic show.
Here's a description of the effect:

Two volunteers were invited up on stage. An apple (wooden) is examined and an inherently unique tie-dyed silk handkerchief is marked for further identification.

The apple is wrapped in a paper napkin, while the marked silk is loaded into a clear "shotgun shell" and inserted into the rear of the Pop Gun...a homemade affair apparently (but not really) created from pop cans, tape and spare parts..

To help the audience follow the silk's invisible flight across the stage, you blow up a balloon and isolate it in a round holder...a bit like a tennis racket with no strings.
The apple is placed on top of one helper's head while the other levels the Pop Gun at the balloon. The trigger is pulled...

POP!

A banner pops out the end of the gun! POP! The balloon breaks! The apple is unwrapped and the hanky removed by the helper. It's their marked silk!

Donut, our Magical Rabbit!

Sometimes people ask me if the rabbit I use in my shows is real! I have kids coming to me asking me if the rabbit is a robot!!!

You may laugh but that's how good the magic is. It looks so unreal. I place a balloon into a box, and POP!!!

Believe it or not, a real live rabbit appears running around in place of the balloon!

I won't put up the video online as it will only spoil the fun. Haha.

Why organise a party?

Your child's first birthday, or 8th birthday? Your 21st birthday? Whatever the occasion, we can do it all. Even a wedding, we can do it too!

We specialise in children entertainment, but we do more than just that. Our services range from magic, balloon sculpting, face or arm painting, caricature and more. With that said, Wacky FunHouse is best known for its "wacky" approach in its kids magic shows. We have at hand repertoires that can make up to 5 different kind of shows altogether. With that as an advantage, Fifi our magician will put together a show that will cater to the client's unique needs.

We are not a believer of one show fits all. We do all we can to make the show fit your needs. Different audience will appreciate different kind of entertainment. What we do for 5 year olds will never be the same with a show we do for 8 year olds. We know the kids best!

With that said, you don't have to worry too much when organising your party. Just post out your invitation cards and prepare the food. Leave the entertainment part to us. We can keep the kids entertained for an hour, 2 hours, 3 hours... it's your call!

We just got a new job with Swissotel Stamford! It's been quite a long battle trying to get a job at hotels. We've tried several including the likes of Intercontinental Hotel and a couple of others. Finally, Swissotel Stamford is taking us in. Andy and me will be out to entertain guests at two restaurants at Swissotel Stamford this coming April. We'll update you guys on this on a later date.

The Wacky Birthday Magic Show
The Birthday Opener
The magician brings attention to the birthday kid and invites him to kick off the show. This is a specially designed effect, which will definitely make the birthday kid feel special on that day!

Who is the Monkey?
The magician attempts to teach a boy and a girl a simple card trick. An animal is spelled out, and the magician always manage to get the correct animal to appear. But everytime the boy tries it, he gets the Monkey! The girl is then allowed to try and she gets it right on her first try! The boy is eventually given a last try to find his favourite animal, the Monkey. The trick ends with a big twist and Fifi guarantees that this will make everyone laugh!

NEW-water experiment
Again, the magician invites a boy and girl up on stage, this time to help out with a little magical experiment. In this trick, the magician educates the audience about NEW water, and he proceeds to demonstrate a brand new technology. The boy is made to drink a bottle of water, and with the help of the audience, water is successfully recycled in the most magical way ever! This is yet another hilarious piece of magic. Have to be seen to be believed!

Rabbit from Balloon
The birthday kid is invited up to help the magician for the last trick. A balloon is blown, and the magician attempts to make an animal balloon out of it. After failing several times, the magician finally promises to do something better. With the help of the audience once again, the balloon suddenly pops to transform into a real live rabbit! This is a definite shocker to everyone. Adults will love this as much as the kids!

Teach-A-Trick Magic Show
Candy Factory
The magician brings attention to the birthday kid and invites him to kick off the show. In this segment of the show, the kid is being taught step by step how to be a magician. But along the way, the kid encountered a tough time. One by one, things went wrong. Magic wand broke... But in the end, the birthday kid emerge as a hero/heroine when he/she magically make tonnes of candy appear!

Copy Cat Magician
The magician attempts to teach a kid a magic trick. The magician told the kid to copy exactly the actions of the magician, but despite trying very hard, the kid cannot get the same result. The magician eventually offered the kid a help, and the kid finally get it right. Watch out for the climax!

Red to white, White to red or..?
The magician teaches the audience how a coloured hankerchief can change its colour. By saying the command "Red to white!", the red hankerchief will indeed transform from red to white. Now the kid tries the reverse, but instead of changing it from white to red, it changed to BREAD! But of course, the magician will help save the day yet again!

How to make a rabbit?!
The magician teaches the kids how to make a rabbit. Not a real one, but a stuffed toy! After some tries, the stuffed toy did not quite look as good as it should be. The magician then transform it magically into a real live rabbit!!

Fifi was at Sengkang to bring some fun to the new year celebrations by the Rivervale Residents. It was yet another successful event as Fifi brought lots of laughter through his fun filled magic show.

As usual, there were plenty of audience interaction. One by one, kids came up on stage to help out with the magic. They certainly did enjoy themselves. For the finale, Fifi surprised everyone when Donut the magical Rabbit appeared out of a balloon!

It's a happy Sunday today!

What a day it is! Farid and I had a charity event today at Ang Mo Kio for 1000 old folks, and about 40 kids from the orphanage! It was a really huge event and we were engaged to do closeup magic for the whole lot of people!

It was a challenging experience but above all, it was pretty sad to see all these old folks being abandoned for some reasons. Nevertheless, I am glad that my magic did touch the hearts of some of these people and I am happy to be able to see them smiling and laughing as they watch my magic.

I then had to run to Parish of Christ Church at Dorset Road. They were having an early christmas celebrations and we were engaged to giveaway balloons as well as, do facepainting for the people there. It was a tiring 2hours as many kids came and kept asking for Spiderman balloon! But the kids were great. Met alot of adorable and cute kids!

Ms Neelie had an event on her own over at Tampines Safra for another early christmas celebrations! Below are some photos that she managed to snap during her 1hr stay there!

Hi Everyone!

It's that time of the year again. Yes, it's busy period for all of us here at Wacky FunHouse, but we always do make it a point to do charity work whenever we can. We were at East Coast Park pretty much half the day today from 9am to 2pm!

It was a tiring day, but definitely a fruitful one!

Well, we were glad that we were able to be part of this event. This event was co-organised by ZOVB-singapore and Combat Skirmish. It was a fun-filled day with all sorts of games and entertainment for both the public as well as the beneficiaries.

As usual, Fifi the magician was out there working real hard to make sure everyone had a great time. Fifi worked non-stop twisting all sorts of balloon sculptures, and the hot favourite for today is Spiderman! (Don't have a photo of it yet... Might put it up next time though...)

Fifi also did a short 20mins closeup magic for the beneficiaries, and well, everyone obviously had a great and fun time. The magic kept blowing them away!!! Everyone loves Fifi!

And today, I made a new friend. See the picture on the left? The one cuddling me; that's Kelvin! He's a real fun guy. Well, Fifi had as much fun as you guys did. Thank you so much everyone!!!

While it's Shufi's preference to speak with all prospective clients about their specific performance needs, the descriptions below provide the outlines for Shufi's basic capabilities. You don't want "just another magic show", and frankly Shufi doesn't want to DO "just another magic show." The goal is to make it a win-win situation for everyone. We'll ensure we do everything we can to meet all your needs.

Walkaround magic is suitable for both small-scale functions as well as bigger scale events. The term 'walkaround" is derived from the fact that the magician walks around in the venue and entertains small groups of guests at a time.

Due to the small size of the group being entertained, Shufi has ample opportunity to get up close and personal with each spectator. Regardless whether the event is held outdoors or indoors, Shufi guarantees that everyone no matter old or young will have a fair share of amazement!

Table / Restaurant Magic
Whether it's a large cocktail reception, an intimate dinner party, or even a full banquet, magic can be performed right in front of your guests as Shufi works the crowd, one person at a time. As he roves from group to group, table to table, or room to room, Shufi can tailor his performance to the types of people he encounters.

This type of magic is best for cocktail parties, hospitality suites, or intimate before or after-dinner performances. Hi, in case you are wondering who makes up Wacky FunHouse, this is it. You'll find all your answers here!

Firstly, Wacky FunHouse is actually a sub-group that belongs to TrillusionMagic (http://www.trillusionmagic.com/).

The founders are Farid (left in the photo) and myself, Shufi (the better looking one on the right, haha!).

Yes, you must already have guessed that both of us are magicians! Wacky FunHouse is a team that brings together a pretty good range of entertainers who are really good in their respective fields. Here, we have magicians, face painters, caricaturists, ventriloquists, jugglers, and a whole lot more!!

Another key person in Wacky FunHouse is Neelie! Weird name huh?

Well, her name is actually Eileen, a really lovely lady. She's our principal facepainter and she's really great at what she does. The kids love her. Just look at that photo on the left! She loves making funny faces in front of the camera!

Being a balloon twister myself, I also have a great friend to help me out at times. He is Kelvin! He is really good with balloon twisting. You guys will be amazed by him, I am sure!

I do have several other people helping me out. There's Faris and Fauzy, the dynamic duo who do really neat caricatures for many of my clients!

Wacky FunHouse wants a busier December!!!

Recently had a show for Conocophillips! It was great. Everyone enjoyed the magic. It was a great crowd, and Fifi gave them an extended 45mins show!

So far, so what?

Well, you must be wondering why am I performing at the Science Center of all places?? Here's the reason... the Singapore Science Center will be having a Magic exhibition from now all the way till February. Yes!! Don't miss this.
